Hart Miller Design are breathing new life into Thurlestone Hotel. Revitalising the guest experience to mirror an established high level of service, the hotel is being refreshed to boost growth through year round occupancy.
We are in the process of delivering a rolling programme of refurbishment works to bedrooms at Thurlestone Hotel with the aim of attracting the next generation of guests. Our purpose has been to establish a design direction that will evolve through existing hotel rooms and create spaces that are refined and elegant. Having worked with the sister Mullion Cove Hotel since 2012, our understanding of the existing and target guest demographic allows us to make considered choices that raise the hotel’s profile and attract a new, younger audience.
Our aim has been to enrich the original Art Deco style, using materials such as crushed velvets and rich brasses to suggest an opulence and decadence, further strengthened by an assortment of high-end furniture and bespoke wardrobes. Our work flourishes with intricate attention to detail and fine craftsmanship; all focusing on enhancing the guest experience.
Using three different colour schemes phased incrementally across the hotel, our work is being rolled out within the framework of existing bedroom formats, repositioning the rooms to balance investment and return.
The works have utilised our unique manufacturing capability of furniture design, production and supply, allowing us to provide a bespoke solution that suits the business needs and budget.
